Alarms
Report incidents of noise nuisance including vehicle and property alarms.
Vehicle alarms
An increasing number of road vehicles have anti-theft alarms fitted. A result of this is the increase in the number of noise complaints regarding vehicle alarms that sound for prolonged periods for no apparent reason. This can cause considerable disturbance, especially where they sound for long periods in residential areas.
Property Alarms
Whilst a burglar alarm can be a useful security measure the noise nuisance caused by faulty alarms can become a serious problem. Noise nuisance can be caused if your alarm rings regularly for no apparent reason. In view of this, we advise that you carry out certain procedures so complaints about your alarm can be avoided.
